The Creator of Brass Balm

Xavier McKinley or Zeek as some may know him, is a 23 year old trombonist studying classical trombone performance in Columbia, SC. Zeek is going on his twelfth year as a trombonist and continues to grow more passionate as he peruses his craft.

Why did I create BrassBalm?

For as long as I can remember, one thing that bothered me most was having chapped or dry lips. Of course, once I started playing the trombone, the issue became worse. I found myself applying lip balm after every practice session, performance, etc. Unfortunately, over the years I've struggled to find a lip balm that worked well for me. Until now! I figured, if no one is making lip balms that I can truly say I like, why not make my own! Playing the trombone can leave you with dry, cracked, chapped, and very unhealthy looking and feeling lips. I wanted to create a 100% natural lip balm that all wind and brass players could trust!
